Having met with a number of large CPA practices from around the country at the January Top 100 CPA Firm conference in Florida, and speaking with my clients, partners, peers and others, I continue to develop a sense of optimism when it comes to business growth opportunities. Revenue growth was up in 2011, with expectations of that trend continuing in 2012. Lending institutions have established aggressive growth goals, and the bankers I've met with so far this year are optimistic in meeting those goals. As businesses look more to continuing growth versus status quo, a mind shift must occur.
