Steve Cupingood

Steve Cupingood leads SingerLewak’s firm-wide Tax practice. He also directs the tax practice in the Los Angeles office.

Experience

Steve has over 24 years of experience in individual and business entity taxation (including with shareholders and partners). He has significant experience with nonprofits as well as with high net worth individuals. In addition to possessing strong technical expertise, Steve has extensive consulting experience in tax planning, research and compliance services. A significant portion of Steve’s professional experience includes over six years in the tax department of a large international accounting firm.

Steve received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with an Accounting major from California State University, Northridge, in 1984. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of CPAs.
