Suzie Doran is a Partner in SingerLewak’s Los Angeles Assurance and Advisory practice group. She has been with the firm since 2008. Previous to working at SingerLewak, Suzie was a Senior Manager at Grant Thornton, LLP in their transaction group. Prior to that, she worked at PwC, primarily in the San Jose office, where she started her career in 1997.

Suzie has worked with public and private companies in a variety of industries. She has transactional expertise in initial public offerings, secondary offerings, corporate restructurings, and mergers and acquisitions.

Suzie obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics with an emphasis in accounting and English from the University of California at Santa Barbara. She is a Board Member of the Association for Corporate Growth and the California Society of CPAs. She is also a Board Member of Hostelling International.

Lior Temkin is a Partner with SingerLewak’s Tax Practice. He oversees the firm’s Nonprofit tax practice specialization. Lior has more than 10 years of experience in Nonprofit, business entities and individual taxation.  He has significant experience with Nonprofit as well as with high net worth individuals. He works closely with Nonprofit organizations on complicated matters such as UBI, sponsorship and transactions with interested persons.

Lior has written many articles for SingerLewak’s publications as well as published an article regarding Nonprofit related matters in the Tax Advisor, a nationally recognized magazine for tax professionals.

Lior received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy and Masters of Science in Taxation degree from California State University, Northridge. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of CPAs.

As part of the firm’s in-house training programs, Lior conducts seminars on Nonprofit as well as for-profit tax related issues. Lior has also done many training seminars for clients and through the Center for Nonprofit Management.
